These came in a large mixed bead shipment and by the fact they are on grass I would say these beads are from the African bead trade. I DO NOT believe they are old. They are however a nice looking glass bead. They look very similar to the old Dutch beads. Approx 12mm diameter. Not sure where they were manufactured but would go well for historic re-enacting projects.
