This is a Howard family Chevron bead. This example is a "4" layer bead that measures 17 x 47mm with a medium satin finish. After the Societa Veneziana de Conterie in Murano Italy ceased production of Chevron beads there was a remaining stock of original Antique cane left over. We have followed this from owner to owner. In 2013 the Howard family purchase the remaining stock and is today making beads from the Antique cane.
