These are from a shipment in the late 1960's that did not make the hippie era and sat in a warehouse. T&T Trading purchased these in the late 1970's. The Dzi bead was originally a stone bead that was etched with a pattern. There are many stories on the original beads including the story that the bead would take the impact of a bad accident and break absorbing the accident. There are 6 beads per bag.
