This is a reproduction of a very early trade bead that was found in many Early Native American sites. The earliest Chevron beads were 7 layers of glass. This bead has 7 layers of glass. This is a very early style and can date to around the 1600's. This bead design was taken from an original sample. The bead measures approx 11x20mm and there are 24 beads per strand.
