This is a hand made reproduction of a Very Very Rare Venetian bead. It is called a Black Pineapple bead. If you can even find the originals be prepaired to pay a lot. This would be a later Venetian bead in the 1800's. There are 24 beads per strand. Bead size is approx 11x18mm.
